Amanda Gordon


Amanda Gordon is the founder and CEO of GoJo Auto, a top-rated and dynamic independent car dealership located in the heart of Denver, Colorado. From humble beginnings in retail at The Gap clothing store, she has broken through barriers and climbed her way to the top, becoming the first black woman in the state of Colorado to own a car dealership.

Amanda crashed into the auto scene in 2002 and has not looked back in the rear-view mirror since. With over 18 years of experience in the automotive industry, in all positions ranging from sales to finance to management, she has solidified herself as a highly respected subject matter expert and leader.

Amanda’s commitment to her business ventures, but also her community plays a major role in her lifelong mission. She is a 2021 Denver Business Journal 40 under 40 award recipient, a 2020 winner of the Auto Remarketing’s “40 under 40,” Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado’s “2020 Leader of the Year,” and a 2019 New Leader honoree for the Colorado Black Chamber. Amanda is a current member of the National Association of Auto Dealers (NAMAD), the Colorado Women’s Chamber and a lifetime member of The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and CO-Founder of WOCAN (Women of Color Auto Network).

Amanda’s most recent accomplishment has been being sworn in as the First black Woman to sit on the Colorado State Dealer Board as of August 202. A three-year commitment she hopes will inspire and influence others to be the vest version of themselves.

Amanda’s passion for empowering women translates into everything she does. She is an advocate for diversity in the workplace and makes it her mission to mentor women and help them realize their full potential in positions of power in the automotive space.

Charlene was the very first licensed employee at GoJo Auto in 2018 and has been a friend to Amanda for years. She started her car career 25 years ago and has held every position from sales to finance. Charlene has helped build the infrastructure for multiple Independent Dealer’s that you see around town and GoJo would not function as well as we do without her. Charlene is a Bonafede self-expressed country girl who loves nature, animals (especially dogs and chickens)

Alejandra (Alex) Zhurba

Alejandra started her automotive career in sales in 2018 and joined GoJo in January of 2019. Immediately she believed in the purpose and passion of Amanda, the owner, and she has been a major part of GoJo’s growth ever since.

“What go me into the car business was my longing to learn more about sales, financing and help more people in my community. I pride myself on having top notch customer service, being honest with buyers and treating them like family. I have a strong passion for helping women feel more secure and confident when buying a car and making the entire experience more enjoyable. “

Her hobbies include spending time with family down in Mexico, enjoying a good hookah with friends, reading and traveling. Alex recently became a member of WOCAN, Women of Color Automotive Network and received a certification in Finance and Insurance from the F&I Academy of Arizona.

He brings 20+ years of sales and management experience and is flexible and open to learning the new ways of serving the modern car buying community. Looking at Adrian’s Social Media you will immediately see why buyers adore him as much as we do. When not working open to close six days a week, Adrian enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife of 20 years, three wonderful children and precious granddaughter. His hobbies are hiking Manitou Springs, traveling, reading and helping others reach their full potential. “

Michael (Mike) England

Michael found the car business 13 years ago after a 25-year career in restaurant management. The instant he hit the pavement he was motivated to direct buyers into situations that are financially manageable and took pride in making sure everyone he came into contact with has an enjoyable experience. During Covid, Michael found himself re-directing and started an auto insurance company. GoJo was happily using his competitive services for our buyer’s and it became a no-brainer that Mike became a part of the team.

Michael is a seasoned Baseball player, an extremely competitive bowler and enjoys his time with his new bride Jennifer. When buying from Mr. England you can expect a First-Class experience from start to finish and we are honored to have him on our team.

Bri is a native of Denver, Colorado and a proud graduate of East High School, EAST ANGELS! As a student athlete she excelled and faced all challenges with faith and a positive attitude. In early May of 2021 Ms Diggs was working at Fed-Ex uninspired and not sure what direction to take and in need of transportation. Finding herself at GoJo through a family friend not only did she get the car of her dreams, an Audi Q5 SUV but also a career opportunity that would change her life forever. Bri’s laughter and outlook on life inspires the entire team at GoJo Auto and we are lucky to have her as an addition to our ever-growing company.

Inventory Manager - July 2021

At a young age James was introduced to automotive by his father who had an interior restoration business and would travel around the state from dealership to dealership working on cars. Being exposed to so many cars in an exciting industry it was a no brainer that this was where James wanted to be. At 16 he became a lot technician for a local dealership and has been helping Dealer’s manage their inventory ever since. GoJo was lucky to find Mr. Baer when he was at a crossroads looking for more fulfillment and opportunity within his career. He has helped immensely with making sure our cars are ready for consumer consumption without any issues.

James enjoys boating, sports and spending time with his Doggie Molly who is a Blue Heeler.

Antoinette is a Denver native who attended South School and loves being from Colorado. For the past 14 years Antoinette has been the CPA for a large local tracking company with over 200 employees and weekly payroll expectations. Her passion for precision and genuine consideration for the staff’s needs allotted her multiple promotions through her years of service. Antoinette’s relentless attention to detail and service makes her a phenomenal addition to the ever-growing GoJo team.

Antoinette has three beautiful children and one grandchild that she spends most of her time with outside of work. She also has a love of tennis shoes that would rival anyone’s collection.
